Benjamin M. Berry, CFP®

Ben is a graduate of Roanoke College where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as a minor in economics.  Ben began working in the financial industry with New York Life after graduation then joined New York Life's Investment Advisory Firm Eagle Strategies, LLC in 2014. Ben is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and completed the education portion of the CFP® certification at the Bryant University Executive Development Center. 

Ben lives in Forest, Virginia with his wife Brittanie and dog Rio. Ben enjoys spending much of his free time playing basketball, tennis, and soccer. Brittanie is a Forest native and graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg.  Brittanie teaches first grade at Altavista Elementary School.  Ben and Brittanie also enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time at Smith Mountain Lake. 

Ben's father William W. Berry, IV practices law in nearby Bedford, Virginia and has served as the City/Town attorney for over 35 years. His mother Libby Berry is a retired teacher who is actively involved with a number of non-profit organizations in the Bedford community. 

Ben serves on the board of directors with the Bedford Area Family YCMA.  He is also a member of the Lynchburg Optimist Club. This is an organization that focuses on recognizing youth excelling in different facets of the school room as well as community involvement.
